A Slatington man has been charged with raping and assaulting two girls over a long period of time.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Detective Andrew Millen of the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office:

On Oct. 22, two girls said that Thomas Fine, 44, sexually assaulted them over a period of time.

One girl said contact began around 2007 when she was 4.

The last time it happened was in 2017, when the victim was 14.

The other girl said the incident occurred in 2010 when she was 4 or 5.

Fine faces charges on two counts each of sexual assault and indecent assault with a person under the age of 13; and one count each of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and indecent assault with person under the age of 16.

He is in the Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Friday in Lehigh County Central Court before District Judge Karen C. Devine.
