Robert Wechsler was installed as commander of the Walnutport VFW Post 7215 during an installation ceremony presided over by David Geiger of Northampton, deputy junior vice commander, Pennsylvania Department.

Other officers installed are Joseph Joler, senior vice commander; James Minnich, junior vice commander; Claude Mase, post advocate; and Harland Remaley and Vernon Mack, trustees.

The post, organized in 1946, now has a membership of nearly 200 people.

Attending the installation were G.F. Kolp, 20th District commander, and past post commanders Vernon Mack, Norman Clauser, George Reinheimer, John Kirchner and Harold Rehrig.
