Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon when involved in a crash in Lansford.

The pair were traveling south on West Patterson (Route 209) when they failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway. The car crossed the roadway striking an embankment, rolling then coming to rest on its wheels. The two victims were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a local trauma center. Lansford police are investigating the incident.
