The operator of a tractor trailer escaped serious injury Monday night after he rolled his rig along Route 61. The unit was heading north when it appeared it suffered a mechanical failure. The rig rolled onto its side along the right berm blocking the entrance to the state lands atop the Blue Mountain. The operator was treated at the scene by members of the Auburn ambulance.
