State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 9:24 p.m. on April 15 along Mountain View Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Dominick L. Heller, 18, of Effort, was driving a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe too fast for conditions when he lost control. The vehicle left the road and struck an embankment along the berm. After striking the embankment, the vehicle continued eastward and struck a tree, then rolled over onto its roof landing in the eastbound lane where it came to rest.

Heller was not injured. The Santa Fe was towed from the scene.

Heller was cited for driving at a unsafe speed.
