Bethany EC Church

Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Tuesday: Kids Club second and fourth Tuesdays at 6 p.m.

Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.

Friday: Wrapped in Prayer ministry, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of 1 Thessalonians.

Communion: Last Sunday of the month.

Trinity Highlights

Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade starts at 10:45 a.m.

A four-session Bible study on the book of Ruth, being led by Vicar Rich, begins at 6:30 p.m. May 6. Advance registration is requested.

For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information 1 p.m. Sunday. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register. Appointments are available to arrange a baptismal date.

Plans are being made for a Trinity church directory to be compiled. Photos dates are available in late May. Please contact the church office for more information.
