State police at Hazleton are investigating a hit-and-run crash into a home in Carbon County.

Troopers said a vehicle left Route 93 (Hudson Drive) in Packer Township and struck a banister and hand railing at a residence on the 1500 block of Hudson Drive. After impact the driver fled the scene.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 7 a.m. on April 19 but was not promptly reported by the homeowner.
