The Nesquehoning Borough crew will begin sweeping the streets on Monday.

The proposed schedule is as follows:

Monday: Hauto (Village and Estates), Ridge Street and High Street.

Tuesday: South side of Railroad Street and Center Street, as well as the both sides of Mill Street and Coal Street.

Wednesday: North side of Railroad Street, Center Street and Catawissa Street, as well as both sides of Willow Lane and the south side of Columbus Avenue.

Thursday: South side of Catawissa Street, Columbus Avenue, Garibaldi Avenue and Diaz Avenue; as well as some of the streets that run from North to South in New Columbus if time permits.

Friday: North side of Garibaldi Avenue and Diaz Avenue and the rest of the streets in town that run from north to south.

The borough said that if the crews have time to do other streets during the week, they will do as much as possible. Streets will be posted the day before sweeping happens, and the schedule is subject to change, so residents are urged to watch for the postings.
