Schuylkill County Treasurer Linda Marchalk has released the treasurer’s report for March 2018.

The ending balance in the general fund was $15,309,890; county agencies showed $4,214,356; other county funds totaled 22,327,547; and worker comp fund was $297,895. The total for all accounts was $41,288,216.

Real estate taxes brought in $4,418,851 and per capita tax collected was $59,744. The funded debt tax was $170,354.

Revenue from the sale of licenses was $2,797 dog licenses, $38 fishing licenses, $730 from bingo and $6,625 from small games of chance.

Other revenue included $9,071 from magistrate fees, $1,121 from hotel tax commissions and $27,208 hotel tax.
