Hike planned at Swatara State Park

Join naturalist Robin Tracey from Tuscarora State Park for a hike at Swatara State Park on Friday.

The trail is 7 miles long and is moderate. It runs parallel to the Swatara Creek. The trip will take hikers down to the old steel bridge and crossing to make a loop around the back part of the park. The trip will also include a visit to the Bordner cabin.

If interested, meet in the Sand Siding Road parking lot at 10 a.m. Bring a lunch and water for the trip.

Dogs are welcome, but they must be leased and get along with other pets and people. For more information or questions, call Robin at 570-467-2506.

This event is shine only.
