State police at Fern Ridge investigate crashes

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks investigated the following crashes:

• An Albrightsville man was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at the intersection of Route 715 and Center Road in Jackson Township.

Michael D. Long, 55, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado that was involved in a crash with a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport operated by Colleen L. Huber, 48, of Stroudsburg. Neither were injured, nor was Long’s passenger. Huber was cited for failure to adhere to a stop sign or yield sign.

• Patryk A. Woloszyn, 24, of Effort, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 6:06 a.m. Feb. 14 on Sugar Hollow Road in Chestnuthill Township. Police said he was traveling west in a 2014 BMW when he lost control of the vehicle. It veered off the right shoulder of the road and struck a tree, coming to rest in the right lane of traffic facing west. He was not injured.

• Two people sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 8:03 a.m. Feb. 11 at the intersection of Route 115 and Arlene Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

Jasmine T. Perry, 28, the driver of one of the vehicles, and an 11-year-old boy, both from Effort, were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus, by West End Ambulance. Police said she was cited for careless driving after the crash involving her 2013 Honda and a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Robert S. Fitzgerald, 21, of Kunkletown. He was not injured.

• Two vehicles sustained disabling damages in a crash at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 29 at the intersection of Route 209 and the Wilkes-Barre Turnpike (Old Route 115) in Chestnuthill Township. Police said Amneet Saini, 28, of Jamaica, Queens, New York, was driving a 2015 Volvo truck westbound on Old Route 209 when he attempted to make a left turn onto Route 209 and lost control of the vehicle. It struck a utility pole and a traffic control device before it was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado operated by Rickie K. Kuntzman Jr., 43, of Kunkletown. Amneet was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed. Police said no one was hurt in the incident.
