St. Luke’s Palmerton practice expands staff

To be able to provide quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages, St. Luke’s Palmerton Internal Medicine became St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care as of Feb. 1, 2019. The practice has added three new providers: family medicine physician Joseph McGinley, DO, and nurse practitioners Bethany Lengel, CRNP, and Britta Hansen, CRNP. The practice will continue at its location at 555 Delaware Ave. but has expanded hours. Early morning and evening appointments will be available.

“The change in the name of the office signifies a growth in all that we are now able to offer Palmerton and surrounding communities,” McGinley said.

“With the addition of a family medicine provider and two nurse practitioners, we have expanded to being able to care for all age groups within a family. We now see children from newborn and up, providing well visits, vaccinations and sick visits.”

Palmerton Internal Medicine centered on the care of adults.

“The addition of staff not only allows us to see more patients, but it also allows us all to accommodate same-day sick visits more often,” McGinley added. “We are happy to be able to offer care to patients of all ages, hopefully making it easier for busy families to get the care they need more quickly and efficiently in one office.”

The office is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays; and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
