Lehighton’s Cole Dietz, representing the Tamaqua Elks Lodge, won the 10-11 year old boys Elks Hoop Shoot Northeast District Championship recently in Bangor.

Dietz made 21 of 25 free throws to capture the championships.

Dietz, the defending state champion and a national finalist, will try to make it two straight state titles on March 2 in State College.
