Pleasant Valley and Marian both picked up girls basketball victories on Thursday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Pleasant Vy.-PM East

Alexa Clark’s 15-point night helped lead Pleasant Valley past Pocono Mountain East 51-35 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference contest.

The Bears (12-6) also received 13 points from Cameron Caffrey. Riley Wagner chipped in with seven points, while Alyssa Wagner added six.

Macy Alansky and Emily Shaud each had 13 points in Marian’s 56-31 Schuylkill League victory over Shenandoah Valley.

Emma McClafferty and Isabella Scwhabe also scored 10 points each for the Fillies (15-3; 8-2).

For Shenandoah, Victoria Donovan scored 14 points.

Pocono Mountain East defeated Pleasant Valley 69-50 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference game.

Triston Hilliman had a game-high 26 points to pace the Cardinals.

For PV (1-18), Andrius Harrison-Gaddist finished with a team-high 15 points.
