Woman advertises drugs for sale in Lehigh County dog park

A Berks County woman was arrested on drug counts after she promoted drug sales in Lehigh County by placing business cards on vehicles in the Lower Macungie Township area advertising the sale of controlled substances.

State police at Bethlehem said the cards were placed on vehicles in the Lower Macungie dog park on Goor Street in the township on Jan. 16.

Undercover vice/narcotics troopers arranged for a controlled purchase via the instructions displayed on the business cards.

The suspect, Dawn Marie Trautwein, 48, of Boyertown, met with an agent and while speaking with him used marijuana and offered various controlled substances for sale.

After the sale, troopers made a traffic stop of Trautwein’s vehicle.

During a probable cause search, police found about 175 grams of individual packaged marijuana in various weights and large amounts of the following: THC edibles, THC vape devices, marijuana rolls, THC wax, unknown white power substances, various capsules and pills, various drug paraphernalia and a loaded, concealed handgun.

Trautwein has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one count each of firearms not to be carried without a license, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
