2018 holiday wish list for area nonprofit groups

As the holiday season nears, area groups are busy helping the less fortunate.

Email tneditor@tnonline.com to let us know what the wish list is for your nonprofit group.

Please be sure to include your contact information so people can fulfill your wishes.

We will compile everyone’s lists and run them in the Times News during the holiday season.

Palmerton Cat Project

The Palmerton Cat Project is a nonprofit that assists with the rescue and adoption of abandoned cats and kittens, supports trap/neuter/release of feral cats, and provides education and support to local residents. Since organizing in the fall of 2014, the group has provided assistance to more than 400 cats.

The group is in need of Havahart humane traps, both kitten and adult size; wet (Friskies Poultry Platter or Turkey and Giblets Pate) and dry cat food (Purina Kitten or Cat Chow).

Donations are always appreciated to assist with medical costs for sick or injured cats. Gift cards from Amazon or Chewy allow for the purchase of supplies such as flea medication and kitten formula.
