Jim Thorpe police reported they have received information that a suspicious man was posing as a borough worker on Monday in the 500 block of Center Avenue at 5:35 p.m.

Police are advising residents if anyone presents themselves as a borough worker to ask for a borough identification badge or call the borough office if a worker arrives at their residence for any reason.
