LCCC hosting a symposium on postsecondary education

Lehigh Carbon Community College, along with the Pennsylvania Inclusive Higher Education Consortium, will host a free symposium titled “Envisioning Possibilities; Eliminating Barriers; Building Capacity” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 16. The symposium will be held at the college’s Lisa Scheller-Wayne Woodman Community Services Center at the main campus located at 4525 Education Park Drive in Schnecksville.

The one-day event will gather students, faculty and staff, administration and families to share experiences along with best practices of developing and implementing authentic inclusive postsecondary education.

The day will consist of student panels, universal design for learning, steps to take that lead to college, expanding college opportunities, building capacity, finding champions, and small group discussions.
