State police at Fogelsville reported investigating a two-vehicle crash around 4:15 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Route 100 and Orchard Road, in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County.

Troopers said Eric M. Montagino, 31, of Walnutport, was operating a 2013 Kia Sportage of Orchard Road while northbound. He attempted to make a right turn onto Route 100 without ensuring the right of way. His vehicle was struck by a 1999 Toyota RAV4 driven by Arlington F. Peters, 57, of Slatington. Both vehicles came to rest at the point of impact.

Montagino and his passenger, Rebecca A. Wieser, 25, of Allentown, were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown, for treatment of suspected minor injuries. Another passenger, Robert M. Porzio, 47, of Orefield, and Peters, were not injured.

Both vehicles had to be towed. Troopers cited Montagino for stop signs and yield signs violation.
