Longtime Volunteers recognized

Two members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lehighton, Shirley Radler and Carolyn Long, were acknowledged as recipients from Senior Corps of Pennsylvania’s RSVP Volunteers of Lehigh/Northampton Counties for 2018. Radler was selected for her many years of volunteer service at the Trinity Food Pantry and leading the “Knotters” as it completes more than 100 quilts each year sent to an agency that delivers them worldwide for disaster relief. Long was selected for her many years of service as volunteer coordinator of the Trinity Food Pantry, which assists hundreds of people in need living in the Lehighton School District with supplemental food items each month.
