The Carbon County Cabbage Festival will return to Weatherly’s Eurana Park for its second year on Oct. 13.

The festival runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes a tractor show, music, food and cabbage contests. There is no cost to attend.

Music will be provided by the Cellar Dwellers from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the Pennsylvania Villagers Polka from 2 to 5:30 p.m.

A new expanded kids section will have activities for all ages.

Girl Scout Troop 30871 will hold a scarecrow contest for clubs, businesses and people of all ages. Scarecrows must include cabbage in some way to participate.
