Police: New Tripoli woman assaulted boyfriend, firemen

A New Tripoli woman is facing multiple charges as a result of an aggravated assault case in Lynn Township.

Police said Linda Kasza, 44, ran over her boyfriend with a car, fled the scene, returned there and punched one emergency responder and bit another.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said the incident happened at 7:02 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 6700 block of Madison Street in the township.

Police said Kasza and a 45-year-old man, also from New Tripoli, were arguing at her residence. Police said the man, to avoid conflict, walked out of the residence. Kasza got into her Honda Pilot and followed him down Madison Street, running him over with her vehicle before backing up and then speeding away from the scene.

Police said while fleeing the scene, Kasza drove through another victim’s front yard, causing approximately $200 in damages.

Police said once emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Kasza returned there on foot and struck a New Tripoli Fire Department member in the back with a closed fist and biting a second fireman that attempted to restrain her.
