Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce

The Small Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents the second annual small-business summit on Sept. 25 at DeSales University. This event will be from 7:30 a.m. to noon and includes breakfast, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.

This is a great opportunity to spend the day with small-business owners and employees from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

The breakout sessions are designed to help bring success to small business with topics focused on funding, diversity and inclusion, millennials in the workplace, and small business in a social world.

The featured keynote speaker is Bill Clement, who is a former National Hockey League all-star who played 11 years in the NHL with Philadelphia, Washington and Calgary and has been the face and voice of nationally televised hockey since 1986. He is also a successful actor, entrepreneur and speaker.

He can be seen on Rogers SportsNet in Canada and can be heard on XM Satellite Radio as well as NHL Radio. For 15 years, Bill was the lead game-analyst for ESPN’s extensive schedule of National Hockey Night telecasts. Clement published “Everyday Leadership” in 2011.

The summit is sponsored by Capital BlueCross, Boyle Construction, EBC Printing, enTrust Merchant Services and Lafayette Ambassador Bank.

The cost to attend is $45 for chamber members and $90 for future members.
