The American Heart Association, the world’s largest voluntary heart organization, will host the 2018 Lehigh Valley Heart Walk on Sept. 22 at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

The walk will take place at 10:30 a.m., beginning with registration and festivities, with the 2.5-mile walk stepping off at noon.

The goal is to raise $350,000. Walkers who raise a minimum of $100 will receive a heart walk shirt and the opportunity to earn additional prizes.

Activities will include free CPR demonstrations, healthy snacks, activities for children and live entertainment.

The heart walk is sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network, Coordinated Health, PSECU, Lutron, B. Braun Medical, Cohen Feeley Altemose & Rambo, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital.
