Summit Hill

Historical society

The Summit Hill Historical Society will hold the monthly meeting at 6 p.m. June 20 in the museum. Please note the change in time of the meeting due to the free concert by the Cressona Band, which will be held in the park at 7 p.m.

The museum is open the first and third Fridays of the month from 4-6 p.m. during the summer.

Lansford

St. John’s Lutheran

There will be no worship service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, because of baccalaureate service at Panther Valley High School this week.

All are welcome to the baccalaureate service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium.

Bloodmobile

The Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be in Lansford from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at the American Fire Company No. 1, 26 E. Patterson St.

Nesquehoning

Lunch program

Meeds Methodist Church in Nesquehoning will host its summer lunch program beginning on Monday.

The program will run Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the church until Aug. 24.

The lunch is open to all children, no matter what town they reside, and there are no requirements or fees to attend.
