Baseball time

A night of baseball, fun and fellowship for the North District of the United Methodist Church has been planned for July 6, at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game against the Rochester Red Wings. This game has a 7:05 p.m. start and the gates open at 5:45 p.m. There will be fireworks following the game.

VBS

St. Matthew’s UCC, Kunkletown, is wrapping up Sunday school this month and thinking about Vacation Bible School which will be held at the church from July 9 through July 13 for children ages 3 and up. A parent or adult may stay with preschool age kids for a Mommy and Me experience.

The theme for VBS this summer is Splash Canyon by Concordia Publishing House. This promises a week of thrills and spills, as participants dive into stories such as Baby Moses in the river and the baptism of Jesus, Staci Gower, coordinator of Christian Formation, said.
