State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks have reported on the following incidents.

• Police are investigating the theft of items from a vehicle in Weissport. The victim is a 22-year-old woman from Lehighton who reported the incident at 6 p.m. Jan. 28 along Bridge Street in the borough.

• A burglary that happened between Jan. 23-26in the 300 block of Lower Greenhill Road, Polk Township, is being investigated by state police. Police said the investigation showed someone broke into the residence and caused extensive damages.

• State police are investigating a burglary that happened between 7 p.m. Jan. 20 and 9 p.m. Feb. 1 at a residence on Kunkletown Road, Eldred Township. The victims are a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman. Someone broke into their residence and stole household items.

• State police are investigating a burglary that happened between 12:45 and 12:53 Feb. 1 in the 100 block of Woods Road, Lower Towamensing Township. The victim is a 46-year-old man from Allentown. Police said during the eight-minute span, someone stole two green-colored Kawasaki dirt bikes from that location.

• The theft of a 100-pound propane tank from a construction trailer located to the rear of the Lower Towamensing Township Building, 595 Hahn’s Dairy Road, is under investigation. The victim is a 73-year-old township man. Police said the theft was reported at 9 a.m. Jan. 30.

• State police are investigating a theft that happened between midnight Sept. 9 and midnight Oct. 11, 2017, in the 200 block of Ashley Lane, East Penn Township. Details of the incident were released this week. The victim is a 54-year-old Lehighton man. Police said the suspect, a woman from Lehighton, had prescription medication filled and signed for it.

• State police are investigating a criminal mischief incident at a home under construction on Preacher’s Camp Drive, Towamensing Township. The incident happened between noon Jan. 19 and 11 a.m. Jan. 26 when two windows of the residence were damaged by what appears to be gun shots. The victims are a 39-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman from Derry Township, Dauphin County.
