Group meets

The Men’s Group at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Gilbert, will meet today at 7:15 p.m.

All men over 18 are welcome.

Discussed will be the verse from Proverbs 27:17 — As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens his fellow man.

Mission Meal

The West End Mission meal will be served from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in McCawley Hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Gilbert.

Legion meets

West End Memorial American Legion Post 927 will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Post home in Gilbert.

The West End Home Association will hold its monthly meeting next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Tax assistance

AARP Tax Assistance Group from Lehighton will be at Salem UCC in Gilbert from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday mornings beginning this Thursday.

If Pleasant Valley Schools have a two-hour delay, the hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to noon.

Band parents

Pleasant Valley band parents will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school band room.
