Tamaqua police report on citations issued

Tamaqua police released information on a number of citations recently issued by officers as well as the names of two people picked up on outstanding warrants.

• Jonathon Manness, 32, of 326 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, was picked up at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 after an officer on patrol saw him on North Railroad Street.

He was taken to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville.

• Leanna Vidzicki, 32, of 304 N. Elizabeth St., Tamaqua, was also picked up and transported to the county prison on Jan. 3. She was found on Gay Street at 10 p.m.

• Zachary Murphy, 21, was cited for harassment after he threatened his landlord on Jan. 9. Murphy made the threats after being notified he was being evicted.

• Frank Lombardo, 25, no known address, was cited for retail theft after taking a bag of candy from the Family Dollar Store on Jan. 3. The candy was valued at $1.

• Michael Sedlock, 30, of 71 Bowe St., Tamaqua, was cited for trespassing after he was found at 131 Mahanoy St. at 1:50 a.m. on Jan. 1. He also received a citation for disorderly conduct.

• Troy David Emerich, 53, of 231 Pine St., Tamaqua, was cited for disorderly conduct at 10 p.m. on Jan. 2. Officers responded to his home to assist EMS personnel who were dispatched for a man down. They found Emerich on the ground. He told officers he was outside on the steps when he decided to urinate. During this time he fell, tumbled over the railing and landed on the ground.

He was transported to St. Luke’s Miners Campus in Coaldale for treatment.

• Harold Allen, 49, of 213 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, was cited for harassment on Jan. 1. Allen reportedly threatened a man during an argument at 3:30 p.m.

• A 15-year-old boy was cited for harassment on Jan. 4 after reportedly punching another 15-year-old boy. The fight was reported at 2:30 p.m. after the two students left school.
