Trinity highlights

First Saturday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., is 5 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday worship with Holy Communion and installation of 2018 council members begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available to those with allergy issues. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade begins at 10:45 a.m.

“Breaking Bread” youth group, for students in grades seven to 12, will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and 28 in the youth room, with supper, Bible study and discussion. “Thunder and Lightning” youth group, for students in grades four to six, will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 24 in the youth room, with a similar format. Vicar Bergen is the adviser.

For those seeking membership at Trinity or arranging a baptismal date, an appointment may be arranged with the Rev. Moore by contacting the church office at 610-377-4303.

Bethany EC Church

Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, fellowship time at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m.

Wednesday: prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.
