Summit Hill Police report on charges filed

Summit Hill police recently released details on charges filed by the department.

• Sonja Barrett, 29, of East Abbott Street, Lansford was charged with simple trespass after police received a report on Aug. 4 that she was at the Lansford Townhouses when she was not allowed to be there.

• James Fredericks, 61, of East White Bear Drive, Summit Hill; Christina Fletcher, 40, of Railroad Street, Tamaqua; and Jason Ahn, 24, of West Patterson Street, Lansford, face various charges after police found them trespassing on Lehigh Coal and Navigation property between Lansford and Summit Hill.

On Aug. 11, police went to the area and found the three living in tents on the property. Fredericks was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and defiant trespass.

Fletcher was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass.

Ahn was charged with criminal trespass.

• Cory Drovich, 25, of East Fell Street, Summit Hill was charged with disorderly conduct after police received a report on Aug. 22 that Drovich committed an act that alarmed some neighbors.

• A 12-year-old Summit Hill male was charged with criminal mischief after police found out he was the person who shot out windows in a garage on Sept. 18.

• Felicia Worthington, 21, of West Fell Street, Summit Hill was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct on Sept. 27 after police received a report she was banging on her house’s walls and yelling to the neighbors.

• Cecily Levan, 22, of Riverside Drive, Reading, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after police were called on Sept. 10 about a woman running in the middle of the highway near the intersection of East White Bear Drive and Laurel Drive.

When they arrived, they found Levan jumping in the roadway, causing traffic to stop. It was discovered she also had a controlled substance in her possession.
