The American Pickers are returning to Pennsylvania this fall, And Carbon County is reportedly on the itinerary.

Since 2010, ‘Pickers’ Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz have traveled the country searching for valuable antiques for their hit TV show on History.A news release from their production company, Cineflix, says they will be in the state sometime in September.Wolfe and Fritz rank Pennsylvania as the top states for picking antiques, as evidenced by a clip on their website entitled “Mike and Frank’s Favorite State.”“We’ve been everywhere, but my favorite place to pick is Pennsylvania. The history, the stuff, I mean so much amazing stuff is still there — layers of stuff. It’s incredible. The history in that part of the country is amazing,” Wolfe is quoted as saying on the clip.According to a post from the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation, they will be stopping in Carbon County. The Chamber said Monday that they got a call from the show saying they were coming, and listed a number for people interested in submitting items.A producer who answered at that number said they are indeed coming to Pennsylvania, but she couldn’t confirm exactly where they will visit.In 2013, they visited a couple who store their antique collection in Lansford and Coaldale.American Pickers is in its 17th season on History. Its most popular episodes attract millions of viewers when they’re premiered, and countless others in syndication and online.In the clip where they profess their love for Pennsylvania, Fritz says they love the state because of the large number of farms that serve as a time capsule for American antiques.“I mean, people do not throw stuff away.
