Ryan Morgans of Tamaqua received the Academic Excellence scholarship from McCann School of Business and Technology. Morgans graduated recently from Tamaqua Area High School and intends to pursue an associate degree as a paramedic. The award will cover half Morgans' tuition to McCann.

"We at McCann are thrilled to offer these scholarships to such promising recent high school graduates and look forward to them becoming part of our student body at the Hazleton Campus," said Bill Burke, director of the Hazleton campus. "I am personally happy to be a part of helping them become successful graduates of our programs."
