Blue Mountain Health System will co-sponsor two New to Medicare Educational Programs with the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging.

The first session will be at 1:30 p.m. June 13 in the community room at the Gnaden Huetten campus, 211 N. 12th St. in Lehighton. The second session will be at 6 p.m. June 20 at the Bowmanstown Medical Plaza, 512 Bank St. in Bowmanstown.A representative from the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will provide an overall view of Medicare, which includes Medicare Parts A, B and C; Medicare supplemental insurance (Medi-Gap policies); Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).The New to Medicare program is an educational program to help people entering Medicare for the first time, and their caregivers, to better understand this comprehensive health care program.Please register for a program at 610-377-7070.
