Four people were injured Wednesday night in a crash in Rush Township. The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 309 and Tide Road. Both cars in the crash received heavy damage. Ambulances from Tamaqua, Luzerne County and Lehighton paramedics responded to the scene, treating and transporting the victims. Route 309 was reduced to one alternating lane at the scene.
