State police at Frackville are investigating the following incidents.
• Michael Joseph Tassone, 49, of Frackville, was observed operating a 2003 Kawasaki KSF400 ATV southbound in the northbound lane of Route 61 between Frackville and Fort Springs, Butler Township, at 3:47 p.m. Sunday. A vehicle stop was made. Troopers said the ATV was towed from the scene. The investigation into the incident is continuing concerning the ownership of the ATV. Charges will be filed.• State police said the property of Kuperavage Coal Company, located along Eagle Hill Road in Blythe Township, was entered sometime between March 22-25. The unknown criminals cut a lock on a gate to gain entry. Once on the property they cut multiple radiators out of several pieces of heavy equipment. Damages were estimated at $7,000. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.• State police said Joshua Acker, 40, no address given, entered a home along Main Street in the village of Nuremberg, North Union Township, and made contact with a woman in the residence. A protection from abuse order prohibits Acker from being at the residence and having contact with the woman. Acker violated the order on March 15 and 24, troopers said.Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Acker is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
