A school bus and a car were involved in a crash in Schuylkill County on March 2 in which four of 13 students on the bus sustained minor injuries. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred around 8:05 a.m. in the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit school parking lot in Norwegian Township.

Troopers said Maureen C. Capone, 64, of Barnesville, was operating a 2015 Bluebird school bus across the parking lot over the parking stalls when the bus struck a 2017 Chevrolet Impala, which was parked in a parking stall.Four students, two age 13 and two others, ages 11 and 15, were taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pottsville Campus - by Minersville ambulance. Capone and the other students on the bus were not injured. All the students involved were from the Mahanoy Area School District.
