Three are arrested after fireworks incident

When state police at the Fern Ridge barracks responded to a fireworks disturbance at 6:32

p.m.Friday at 62 Bowman Road in Penn Forest Township, it resulted in three people from New York being arrested.The incident started when George J. Crossley, 57, of Monroe, New York, set off three commercial aerial fireworks, causing public annoyance and alarm.Upon arrival, police discovered drug paraphernalia in plain view on the kitchen table of the residence. Police said Jennifer Murray, 48, also of Monroe, took ownership of the paraphernalia and also removed a small bag of marijuana from her purse. She was taken into custody, processed for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and released.Police said Travis F. Rajah, 19, of Highland Mills, New York, was found to be consuming alcohol and was cited for underage drinking. Crossley was cited for disorderly conduct.
