Rush Township's board of supervisors on Thursday:

• Approved the North Schuylkill Landfill Association & Transfer Station's proposed 2017 budget.• Agreed to consider a mortgage subordination agreement request for Fred & Linda Warnavage, of 77 Frankford Ave.• Agreed to designate Supervisor Robert Leibensperger to oversee the 504 Compliance Effort Plan.• Announced that the township's Cookies and Cocoa with Santa night event held earlier this month was a huge success, attracting about 80 people.• Announced that the township municipal building will be closed Dec. 23 and Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday, and Jan. 2 for New Year's.• Agreed to hold the board's reorganization meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 3, followed by the township's regular monthly meeting.- Terry Ahner
