Summit Hill police report on incidents

Summit Hill police reported on the following incidents:

Obstructing justice: A Summit Hill man was charged after he created a disturbance and then ran from police. Police said that at 5:28 p.m. Sept. 3, officers were called to a home in the 100 block of East Ludlow Street for a domestic dispute. When they arrived they found David Salla, 67, of that address. They initially spoke with Salla but he did not cooperate and instead ran from the scene. He was later found hiding on the property and was charged with obstructing justice and escape.Harassment: A 12-year-old Summit Hill boy was cited for harassment after he reportedly assaulted another juvenile at 3:39 p.m. on Sept. 23.Defiant trespass: Police cited Timothy Chuss, 28, of Washington Avenue, Northampton, with defiant trespass on Nov. 23 after he was at a residence in the Summit Hill section of Lansford Court after he was told he was not allowed to be there.Lawn ornament stolen: Police want to know if anyone has seen a lawn jockey that was swiped from a yard in the borough. The theft occurred around 4 p.m. on Nov. 15 at a residence along East Mountaintop Road. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the figure or who took it is asked to call police at 570-645-7429.
