HERSHEY - Lower Dauphin defeated Northwestern, 3-0, in the PIAA Class 3A boys soccer championship game on Friday night at Hersheypark Stadium.

Lower Dauphin (28-0) opened the scoring on a Tim Townsend goal with 19 minutes remaining in the first half.

The Falcons added a pair of second half goals to hand Northwestern (24-1-1) its first loss of the season.
