Pennsylvania woman killed when car spun by crash hits her

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A woman has died after being struck by a car that spun around when it collided with a van in an eastern Pennsylvania city.

The Lehigh County coroner was not releasing the woman's name Wednesday until her relatives could be notified.The coroner says the woman, in her 50s, was in a crosswalk when a van and the car collided at an intersection in Allentown shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.The woman was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where she died less than two hours later.The coroner planned an autopsy Wednesday.Allentown police continued to investigate the crash and didn't immediately identify either driver or say whether they could be charged in the crash or the woman's death.
