The sounds of Sinatra on stage Friday

"It Was a Very Good Year" will showcase the talents of the late star Frank Sinatra through the great Tony Sands on Friday at the Mauch Chunk Opera House.

This show is a must-see for any Sinatra fan and covers Sinatra's life from his early days in Hoboken, New Jersey, to his triumphant emergence from retirement. Sands has incorporated stunning graphics that entice you the moment the stage lights dim, and the music begins.The show starts with Sinatra's early days with Tommy Dorsey in the bright lights of New York City, and brings us to his comeback at Madison Square Garden, the "Main Event."Tony's uncanny portraying of Frank's mannerisms and singing voice will take the audience on a musical journey.Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8.Tickets are available on the Opera House website,
