Seven defendants entered guilty pleas before Judge Joseph J. Matika on Tuesday.

Amber Colleen Defiore, 23, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of retail theft. She was arrested on Feb. 5 by Mahoning Township police for an incident at the Walmart store.Matika sentenced her to time served (65 days) to one year in jail and ordered her to make restitution of $73.92, get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, render 50 hours of community service and stay out of Walmart.Earlier this month she was sentenced to serve 30 days to one day less 24 months in a fleeing police charge which she is still serving.Corey R. Schlier Jr., 29, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of fleeing or attempting to elude police. He was arrested on March 29, 2015, by Lansford police along Bertsch Street. He was originally placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked from it for violating conditions by being arrested on new criminal charges.He was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and render 50 hours of community service.Paul William Gangloff, 37, of Nesquehoning and formerly of New Ringgold, pleaded to one count of retail theft.He was arrested by Mahoning Township police for taking merchandise from the Giant Market on Aug. 22, 2014, and not paying for it. There is a co-defendant in the case.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he pay restitution of $215.59 to Giant, render 50 hours of community service and stay out of the store.Tyler Matthew Strawdinger, 23, of Scranton, pleaded to one count of false reports to law enforcement.He was arrested on March 17 by Weatherly police following a traffic stop along Plane Street, He was a passenger in the vehicle and gave a false name. He told Matika he gave the false name because he knew there was a warrant for his arrest.He is currently an inmate at the state correctional institution at Frackville serving a sentence that runs to Jan. 4, 2017.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he render 50 hours of community service when released on parole. The term runs concurrent with his state sentence.Kathleen Mary Gannecilli, 45, of Lansford, pleaded to a summary charge of disorderly conduct. She was arrested on June 11, 2015, by Lansford police for an incident in which she left three children at home alone for a period of time. In exchange for the plea, the district attorney dropped three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.Matika imposed a fine of $150 and costs.Shaun Austin Mann, 21, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of criminal mischief. He was arrested by Nesquehoning police for an incident on May 26, at the county prison. Police were called to the prison by corrections officers for an incident in which Mann caused his cell be flooded which caused other damages. In a plea agreement a charge of institutional vandalism was dropped.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he get a mental health evaluation, make restitution for damages to the prison of $621.76 and render 50 hours of community service.Dale Neil Schleicher II, 58, of Ashfield, pleaded to one count of unsworn falsification to authorities. He was arrested by Mahoning Township police for an incident on Aug. 1, 2015, at the Walmart store. He attempted to buy a firearm when he is prohibited from making such a purchase due to a prior criminal conviction.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he render 50 hours of community service.Each defendant sentenced must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole or probation.
