A female motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon when involved in a crash in West Penn township.

The crash occurred as the biker was traveling west on Golf road and failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.

Her bike entered the right berm where she laid it down in the brush. She then walked to a home on Archery Lane for help.

The woman was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance and transported to an area hospital. West Penn township police Sgt Jason Lorah is investigating the incident.
