Saturday is the deadline to enter the Carbon County Fair quilt block contest. There is one entry per exhibitor and the theme is "Home Sweet Home" in shades of blue. The entry fee is $1 per item. All exhibitors must live in Carbon County or West Penn Township, Schuylkill County. Blocks will become the property of the Carbon County Fair. They will be made in to a quilt or wall-hangings to be auctioned at the 2017 fair.
