The Cressona Band has two local concerts on its July schedule.

A patriotic concert will be held at Heisler's Dairy Bar in the Lewistown Valley on Sunday. The Jr. Cressona Band will also be featured during the 4 to 6 p.m. show.On July 20, the band will perform at the East End Playground on Mountain Avenue in Tamaqua. The 7 p.m. show will include show tunes, marching tunes, overtures and songs of yesteryear.The public is welcome to attend and bring lawn chairs. For more information, call 570-622-8784.
