The Carbon County Planning Commission made recommendations on five proposed land plans during its monthly meeting on Tuesday.

They include:• Lehighton Sewer Authority received plan approval for its proposed lot line revision at 80 E. Bridge St., Lehighton. The plan calls for creating five parcels on a 0.792-acre lot. The purpose of the plan is to eliminate an encroachment of the Castle Grill restaurant on lands owned by the Lehighton Sewer Authority and provide an access easement for the D&L Trail connectivity project across land owned by Frank R. Potoczak and the sewer authority; as well as eliminate and existing easement to Joseph J. and Debra Kay Bennett. Parcel 4 is created for sale by the authority and parcel is being created for the D&L Trail project.• Neil R. and Barbara Goldman received conditional plan rejection for their proposed subdivision at 13 Meadowrock Drive, Hickory Run Forest, Section A, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining two lots to create a 2.65-acre lot.• Joseph and Teresa Marie Barna received conditional plan rejection for their proposed subdivision at 333 (385) South Lehigh Gorge Drive, Lehigh Township. The plans call for subdividing a 7.333-acre lot into two lots.• Frank R. Potoczak received conditional plan approval for his proposed lot line revision at 1810 Deer Lane, Towamensing Township. The plans call for combining two lots into a 2.315-acre plot.• Albert J. Holczman received plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 540 Sand Quarry Road, East Penn Township. The plan calls for creating two lots on 44.043 acres.
