Mrs. Belle Meredith transacted business in Philadelphia on Monday.Mrs. Willard Wolfe, of Allentown, spent Wednesday with relatives in town.Miss Ruth Everett, of Philadelphia was the guest of her parents over Sunday.Miss Marion Nussbaum is spending the week end with friends in Philadelphia.Mrs. Cora Brong and Mrs. Ellen Markley spent several days in Philadelphia this week.Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. McCormick are spending several days with her sister in Philadelphia.Miss Rachael Heisler, one of our high school teachers, spent Sunday with her parents at Bethlehem.Elvin V. Strohl, one of Towamensing's well-known farmers, transacted business in town on Saturday.Mrs. George Mackintosh and children and Miss Verna Hunsicker, of Philadelphia, are guests of Mrs. Lena Esch.Mrs. Lester Smith, of Elizabeth, N.J., is spending the week with her sister Mrs. Charles Siegfried, North First street.Mrs. M. C. Grifflin and son returned to Allentown after spending a week very pleasantly with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Arner on North Third street.The New Jersey Zinc Co. secured a valuable man when George Miller accepted a new position after resigning as chief operator at the local Central station.Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stoll, of Mauch Chunk, and his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Stoll, of Philadelphia, were sightseeing in Lehighton on Wednesday.
