SAL programs
The Tamaqua Salvation Army has a number of programs and activities scheduled over the next few weeks.On Monday, the Needlebugs quilting and sewing group meets from 9:30 a.m. to noon; gentle exercise classes for men and women are held from 10:30 a.m. to noon; and the Teen group, for ages 13 to 20, meets from 5 to 7 p.m.Tuesdays schedule also includes a gentle exercise class, for men and women, from 10:30 a.m. to noon; men's and women's fellowship, ages 14 and up, from 5 to 6 p.m.The Older and Bolder group meets from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays. Also on Wednesdays, tambourine practice is held at 5 p.m.; beginner and intermediate Bible study is at 6 p.m.; prayer meeting at 7 p.m.Gentle exercise classes are also held Thursdays and the youth group meets at 4:30 p.m.Fridays are all about drama and dance, beginning at 3 p.m.Worship services are held Sundays at 11 a.m., with Sunday school classes at 9:45 a.m.For more information, or to register for any of the activities, call 570-668-0410.
